Jocelynn Mejstrik, ATR-P, Master’s in Counseling and Art Therapy

Jocelynn is an Art Therapist, and our Office Administrator keeping clients connected to our entire team AND keeping us (creative and messy) professionals organized in our beautiful office/studio spaces. She completed her Master of Arts in Counseling and Art Therapy from Ursuline College, building on her Associate of Arts in Art Therapy from Cuyahoga Community College.

She is also TF-CBT trained and EMDR trained via EMDR Cleveland. She helps navigate expressing emotions, moving through trauma and developmental concerns. She strongly believes that the arts are a force for healing and connection. She has experience working with adults, children, and older adults with mental health and developmental disabilities.

Her current professional experience includes serving as an Adapted Arts Specialist at the Beck Center for the Arts since October 2021, where she provides inclusive group art experiences to children and adults of all ages and abilities.

Jocelynn was a dedicated student, having been recognized on the Dean's List for the 2021-2022 academic year and awarded a Merit Scholarship to Ursuline College. Her capstone work focused on: Exploring the Integration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Art Therapy in Addressing Medical Trauma.
