Many people find it distressing when they open up their relationship and redefine. Suddenly there's too much on their emotional and logistical plates.

Most people who start Relationship Therapy for Polyamory or Consensual Non-Monogamy thought ENM would manifest the love or sex life they wanted but they still often feel stuck repeating the same painful patterns. Perhaps you can relate. Or maybe you know you'd be happier if you made changes but it feels safer and more comfortable to ignore the problems and you don’t know where to start.

Stuck in negativity or feeling confused, you may feel like this new relationship structure is simply too hard. Or you feel like you’ve made mistakes and you want to go back to the safety of the way things used to be.

Feel Suddenly Insecure, Lost, and Anxious?

Maybe some of the following resonate with you-

  • You fight often with your partner(s).
  • You feel lonely, even when you are with others.
  • You've noticed that the spark in one or more of your relationships is getting suffocated.

If these sound true for you, we want you to know that you might feel embarrassed to open up about what you’re really going through, especially to family and friends. Therapy provides a non-judgemental space for you to talk freely about what’s happening for you.

All of the complex elements to your relationships are not a barrier. You can have the loving relationships you really want, with a little outside support.
