Life's challenges can feel dark, heavy, or even impossible to deal with.

Most people who start Art Therapy feel like they are going round in circles, repeating negative emotions. Perhaps you can relate. Maybe your creativity is nonexistent or you know you'd be happier if you made changes but it feels safer and more comfortable to stay the same.

Stuck in negativity and feeling hopeless, you may feel like life is overwhelming, like it's too much.

Do You Feel Miserable, Numb, Overwhelmed?

Do any of the following resonate with you?

  • You feel like you lack motivation to do anything.
  • You lost the joyful feelings that you used to have in life.
  • You feel dread, fear, strange thoughts, and a pounding heart.
  • You feel like you are wandering through life, feeling like something is missing or your balance is "off."
  • You feel like there are so many things to manage and your forever growing "to do list" leaves you feeling completely overwhelmed.

If these sound true for you, we want you to know that even if you are really struggling, nothing is wrong with you. What you are experiencing is normal and it is okay to ask for help.

Even if you don't believe you deserve care, you do. You deserve to take care of yourself.

Art Therapy

In Art Therapy we use various art materials (pencils, markers, paint, pastels, chalk etc.) to express yourself and gain insight. Art helps us express things when words aren't quite enough. Art Therapy supports trauma healing by accessing other parts of the brain and using your senses, beyond what talk therapy can do.

(Counseling/Mental Health Therapy can include Art Therapy, but does not have to.)
